Antonin Pavard holds a PhD in Engineering Sciences with a specialization in Geomatics from the Université Paris-Est. His research focuses on the management of the city and transportation infrastructures in a process of optimization of their management. His work is anchored at the interface between urban geography, civil and urban engineering and is based on geomatic methods and tools.

International projects

2011 – 2013 ESPON M4D, consisted in collecting, verifying, integrating and restoring the territorial data produced by the projects of the ESPON applied research program. The main challenges of this project consisted first of all in managing the profusion of heterogeneous data, standardizing and harmonizing them, evaluating their quality and ensuring their follow-up. National projects

2014 – 2016 MobiClimEx, is an ANR project which is interested in the exposure of individuals to flash floods through their daily movements (exposure on the road) and their residential mobilities (exposure at home). It aimed at estimating the evolution of this exposure in a context of climate change, leader: Lutoff C. (Laboratoire Politiques Publiques, Action Politique, Territoires – Université Joseph Fourier Grenoble).

University projects

2015 TraDeve, is a project funded by the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and whose objective was to build a harmonized database on the delimitations and populations of European urban areas (defined taking into account areas of continuous accumulation of the minimum population threshold), from 1961 to 2011: Bretagnolle A.
