Christophe Quéva is Associate Professor in Geography at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University.

His current research focuses on public and associative action strategies to deal with the fragility of small and medium-sized cities in France (urban decline, precariousness, social and territorial vulnerability, etc.).

He has also worked on the dynamics and stakeholders involved in the development of rural and peri-urban areas, as well as on the local restructuring established on either side of the former inter-German border (patrimonialisation of the former border, implementation of city networks, etc.).
